These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Restaurantica website ("Site"), operated by PointForm, Inc., an Ontario corporation ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

By accessing, browsing, or using Restaurantica, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. These Terms apply to all visitors, readers, and users of the Site.

The Site is intended for individuals who have reached the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence. By using the Site, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Restaurantica is a Canadian restaurant discovery and review platform. Our services include:

• Restaurant directory covering restaurants across Canadian cities and provinces
• The Playbook — editorially crafted insider guides for individual restaurants
• AI-powered discovery including chat-based restaurant recommendations and five-dimension sentiment analysis
• Community features including reviews, photos, menu tag voting, and dining persona matching
• Search and browse tools including dish-first search, neighbourhood browsing, daily specials, and hidden gems discovery

All content on the Site is intended for general informational purposes only.

All content on Restaurantica, including but not limited to text, graphics, images, logos, data compilations, software, and the overall design of the Site, is the property of PointForm, Inc. or its content suppliers and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

• Reproduce, distribute, or republish any content from the Site
• Modify, adapt, or create derivative works based on Site content
• Use Site content for any commercial purpose
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract content from the Site

You may share links to our content and quote brief excerpts with proper attribution to Restaurantica.

Restaurantica allows users to contribute reviews, photos, and tag votes. By submitting content to the Site, you:

• Grant PointForm, Inc. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with the Site
• Represent that you own or have the right to submit the content
• Agree not to submit content that is defamatory, obscene, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
• Acknowledge that we may remove content at our discretion

You retain ownership of your original content. We do not claim ownership of reviews, photos, or other user-generated content.

Restaurantica uses artificial intelligence (AI) tools to assist in the generation and analysis of restaurant data, including sentiment analysis, playbook content, and dining persona scoring. All AI-assisted content is reviewed and refined by our editorial processes.

When using Restaurantica, you agree to:

• Use the Site only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms
• Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site
• Not use the Site in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair the Site
• Not use automated systems, including bots or scrapers, without our permission
• Not transmit any viruses, malware, or other harmful code
• Not harass, abuse, or harm another person through your use of the Site

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access at our sole discretion.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, POINTFORM, INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF THE SITE.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY EXCEED ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100.00).

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PointForm, Inc. from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, or fees arising out of your use of the Site or your violation of these Terms.

Restaurantica may contain links to third-party websites. We do not control, endorse, or assume responsibility for the content or practices of any third-party websites.

Your use of Restaurantica is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. When we make changes, we will update the Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Site constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

We reserve the right to restrict, suspend, or terminate your access to the Site at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the Province of Ontario, Canada.
