Stone House Brewing Company is Huron County's original craft brewery, a rural Grand Bend-area taproom built around Mike Corrie's lager-first brewing program. The strongest visit is beer-led: Czech Pilsner, Honey Cream Lager, Dark Lager, patio time, live music, food trucks, and packaged beer to take home.
Six friends in three couples—Jason and Michelle, Mark and Laura, and Nick and Kaitlyn—opened Torched Brewing Company in July 2021 after remaking an old Ontario Street building. Torched works best as a drink-led Grand Bend stop: River Pigs IPA gives the house lineup a clear citrus-and-bitterness reference point, while a two-level taproom, front and rear patios, and recurring live music make the room part of the visit. The old Brewster's Mill fire story is more than a naming device; it ties a modern local brewery to the history that helped give Grand Bend its name.
