  • Wells Bros has been a cornerstone in our community for many many years. Their pizza far surpasses many others. The crust is always nice & crispy, the service is great & friendly & even if you order a full meal, this is authentic Italian cooking. Always wonderful! If you happen to get there on a day when Grandma Wells has made Tiramisu...make sure you indulge! WOW!!!

  • If you like thin crust pizza, you can't beat Wells Brothers. As the name would indicate, it's a family business that's been in the city, in its present location, for decades. It is mentioned in travel guides and one author has placed its pizza among the top 10 in the country. The crust is thin and crunchy, and the sauce has a flavor that makes it unique. There is other Italian fare on the menu, but the pizza is the reason locals come to Wells Brothers. The wait staff is friendly, orders are taken quickly and food is always hot when it hits the table. The crowd is generally older and one can imagine that many of the folks you see in the restaurant were probably there years ago on Friday nights on dates after attending high school athletic events. Speaking of Friday nights, reservations need to be phoned in much earlier in the week if you plan to eat before 7p.m. on a Friday.
The seating area is non-smoking, but the bar is at the front of the restaurant and smoking is permitted there. As a result, like any restaurant where smoking is allowed in some portion of the room, the smoke is evident in the dining area.
Wells Brothers is located in an older part of the city, and you'll drive by many other Italian Restaurants and Pizzarias to get to it. Even if you're really hungry, don't stop for pizza until you get there - you'll be rewarded with the best pizza the city has to offer.
Wells Brothers is closed on Sundays.
