The food was really good for the price -- a little higher end. Hearty portions, so you definitely won't be hungry! We liked the complimentary baby plate for our toddler -- just enough finger foods to keep her occupied while we waited and ate.

Claim Jumper has been open about six weeks so we thought we'd try it out. Not knowing how crowded it would be, we made reservations so we were seated right away while a lot of customers appeared to be walk-ins and were waiting. The restaurant can seat over 400 and can accomodate a variety of party sizes. The menu was huge, from sandwiches to dinners. I ordered a half portion of the Goldrush Chicken. Serving sizes are HUGE along with the biscuits that are served. Food was appealing to look at and tasted quite good, but still had to take home the leftovers. The desserts offered were varied and large but was too full to try one.

Claim Jumper opened in Brookfield so we wanted to try it. It was busy so we made reservations so we would not have to wait. We ended up having to wait anyway. When we got seated the manager came up to say she was sorry and wanted to buy us a free appetizer. We got a combination plate with one of all of the appetizers they had. It was excellent. All of the people that were working there were asking if everything was okay and could they get us anything.
The food was very good and you got lots of it. I had a beef sandwich that was very good. My son had a country fried steak and loved it. My daughter in law had a sandwich and liked it also. They had the biggest desserts I ever say and they looked so good. We were to full to have one. I have gone back twice since and each time was really good. I will be going again.
