All I can say is......Wooooowwwww!!! And I don't say that in a good way. I recently went to this restaurant, I had seen their commercial on TV and thought I would try it, the food in the commercial looked very appealling. And once we got there they did a large variety to chose from, so the food was fine, it was just the atmosphere and the service.
It was a busy Saturday there, which was fine, but the way their lobby/waiting area is situated, you can't hear them call your name, because you are downstairs in a very busy and noisy lobby. They don't have a public address system, so if you don't hear them call you name, you are by passed (according to another customer). We waited about 30 mins and checked twice to see if they called our name. Then we were seated.
The waitress was not very friendly and seemed frazzled (but I gave her the benefit of the doubt). It went downhill from there. Now here is the reason I say....Wooooowwww!!!! Once you got to the food area, it was like trying to manuever through an obstacle course, especially because there were sooooo many small children playing and running around the food area while their parents sat an ate.
I want to state I am NOT a prejudice person, so I don't know if this is a cultural thing, but it was all Asian children. They even behaved that way in the seating area around the table, playing games chasing each other and throwing things at each other. Their parents NEVER said a thing. I was hoping the employees might, but they did not. I love children, but I would NEVER have mine behave that way in a public place.
There were several times I almost ended up wearing my food because of the children and almost had hot soup spilled on me. The restaurant was very crowded, the majority of the clientele was Asian (which was fine), but I did see some of the non-Asians shaking their heads. The noise level was like being a high volume wind tunnel inside a Chucky Cheese......unbearable. I was shaking my head regarding this experience months afterward.
The food was the usual "all you can eat" Chisnese buffet type of food, overly breaded and heavy with sauce. Nothing different from every Chinese buffet I have been to in a variety of states.
So all I can say is go to this restaurant at your own risk and maybe wear ear plugs. If you enjoy that "cattle call" experience and so-so food, then this is the restaurant for you.
Wooooooowwwww!!!!!!
