Sticky Fingers BBQ

Wow! I was brought to Sticky Fingers by Slim, who lives a few blocks away. Was I in heaven! The portions...the menu items...the sauce...etc.
I'm known for my meat by my friends, as I do a pretty mean BBQ, but this award winning BBQ is the bomb fo sure! Speaking of the "Bomb"...the Spud Bomb is a real treat! It starts with a huge baked potato. Then it's covered with baked beans, pulled pork, BBQ sauce, ranch dressing, sour cream, and topped with 2 handfuls of shredded cheddar cheese.
I tried the 3 rib dinner last time I was there with Blufrog & Cheyanne, and was equally impressed. Meat was moist, juicy and pulled right off the bone! When it comes time to pick your two sides, make sure one of your choices is the garlic red potatoes! Yumma yumma yumma!!!
Only drawback is the small seating area.

Stumbled onto this place when a buddy was buying a used truck next door. I'd heard of it an now was my chance. If anybody reading this had ever had the pleasure of BBQ from M&J's in the 80's, this place is the spiritual successor. The meat had a nice smoke line and came off the bone easily. The sauce complemented and didn't hide the meat. I wanted a sauce with a little kick and, not having a standing offer, they "whipped something up" for me. It was good. Not your garden variety sides, they are spiced uniquely. The slaw is course and the beans peppery. The corn bread is moist and sweet and doesn't fall apart in your hands. A "cakeier" variety. They even tossed in an extra loaf. Cuz I'm a nice guy I guess. I got my order to go.

The place is decorated in a funky manner with small tables and the people are friendly and efficient. The neighborhood is a bit light industrial but that only adds to the experience. The prices are reasonable for BBQ. It's a long drive for me to return but I'll go there every chance I get. Look for the brightly colored flamed sign on the roof, east side of the street. Great place.

Have eaten there twice now. Both times have been wonderful. There is little service, the place is small, when trains go by it shakes the building. In other words, the atmosphere is great. This is some of the best BBQ I have ever had. My wife and I can both eat the Meat Trio ($14.00) and be full (I am 6'1", 250lbs). Well worth trying. Cornbread had some corn pieces in it and is pretty moist. Coleslaw is good. Beans are good. Pulled pork and beef Brisket are the best.

Drove by the Marysville location and decided to give it a try. We have been back 5 times since our first visit and have taken guests with us who now frequent the restaurant as well. I like the BBQ sauce because it is not too spicy - just nice and smokey sweet. The baked beans are out of this world.

i have had a lot of bbq in a lot of places!!!!! and this rates up with the best .....there just not supposed to have bbq like this in washington...wow ...and the owner is local ..go figure

Every meal we have eaten there has been excellent. Be sure to get there early on Friday and Saturday nights as they often run out of something like ribs. This is what BBQ should taste like, smokey and sweet

All I can say is I wish I could cook like this. Every bite was pure heaven and melted in my mouth. The meat was incredibly tender and flavorful. The coleslaw was made exactly like I had it as a kid; tangy and sweet. The garlic baby red potatoes were tender and warm with just the right amount of garlic. It is a flavor worth going back for again and again.
