Boat Shed Restaurant Bar

I finally found a place I like to spend time at. The views are wonderful of water and lights as the sun goes down. Inside is nicely furnished and the service was quite good for the crowd on a Friday night.

I will complain about the NOISE! I couldn't hear a thing my guests said over the din. Spent 2 hours smiling and nodding to heaven knows what was being said! Spoiled the experience for me. I hope the management invests in some something to cut it down. If it wern't for the greatest french fries and salad I have ever had I would have left.

The food was really great and I will go again but never at rush hour! I am still giving them an 8 for the view, the candlelight and the chance to smile a lot :)

This is a very pricey restaurant, but well worth the splurge on occasion (or, you know...you could go every night if you have money coming out your ears!). It's a great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the water and the mountains (on a clear day) and options for eating outside or inside. We sat outside, it was a beautiful evening!

The food was wonderful! I didn't know a salad could be so good! And the service was excellent! She came by frequently and our drinks were refilled in a timely manner.

The Boat Shed has been around for many years and their service, quality of food and prices fluctuate like the seasons.

On the numerous occasions we've dined at their facility, we've been seated quickly, offered drinks and a menu immediately afterwards yet that's where the sterling service usually ended.

Most times we're ready to order within 5 minutes of arriving yet won't be able to flag a waiter/ess down for at least 10 minutes. Especially if we're sitting in the back facing the water and deck area.

If you're not a seafood lover, you'll be hard pressed to find a variety of nonseafood products. But it IS a seafood place so be prepared.

Since I DON'T eat seafood, I've always settled for a chicken or vegetarian meal. Always hot, tasty and sufficient in quantity, I can't complain about the food.

Prices are a little high.

I enjoy the atmosphere and would gladly recommend this for one person or a group as they accomodate both easily.
