I have been dining at Croissants since before I was a food writer and have never had a less than delicious experience. My sons grew up on their cookies and cake slices, and I sometimes crave their chicken salad and broccoli salad so much I make special trips over there to get them! The owner, Heidi Vukov, always goes out of her way to greet me if she is there when I visit, and I know she does the same with all of her visitors.
Can't wait to try the new bistro dinners in November!
Also, I highly recommend the Shrimp and Grits for breakfast. They are filling and flavorful, and the shrimp are cooked just right - plump and tender.
