Restaurant Le Globe

When it comes to dinning out in Montreal many restaurants make the A list but I must say, time and time again , consistant in every way Globe still makes for a great dinning experience with all the additional perks, great vibe, very attentive Manager, generous portions, friendly staff. We had the pleasure of meeting chef Rolland. He casually brought over some complimentary canapes, well that was a very nice touch. I was hosting some very important clients and that little extra touch set the tone for the rest of the evening. We started of with The Seafood platter which was simply beautiful. My next dinner a dozen oysters, they were simply perfect , and so was the crab legs, lobsters, mussels and clams. That was a great start. We continued with a few entrees that we opted to share which was very pleasant as well. The stuffed calamari, a hit and if you enjoy Blue cheese go for the endive salad the presentation , colors and flavors are very well balanced. My guests and I are very big fans of the braised meats and we were in luck. The a la carte menu offered braised lamb shanks and braised bison , on a special note portions are very generous.
Our server was delightful and was insightful, her suggestions were on the ball so was her food descriptions, y0u just wanted to have the whole menu...
