Amir is a chain of "fast-food Lebonese" restaurant. This location is found inside the Eaton Center food court.
Amir is by far my favorite in their category (Basha, Boustan, etc.).
Their specialties are Shwarma, Shisch-Taouk, and Falafel plates and sandwiches. My favorite is their Shisch-Taouk sandwich trio (you get potatoes and a drink with it); the sandwich has chicken which has been slow-roasted in a rotisserie-like stick which gives it a well-done even sometimes crunchy taste with very little fat, lettuce, tomato, turnip, and garlic sauce. A lot of the taste come from the garlic sauce, which is usually quite intense. If you take the plate version of this you'll get hummus, rice, and salad as well -- but I'm rarely hungry enough to have it all. :)
This particular location adds pickle, which is a bit unusual but adds a nice twist.
Shwarma is similar but with lamb instead of chicken.
- Order: Shish-Taouk Sandwich Combo
