The elegant lighting and sensual design of this restaurant will ignite your appetite and desire for tasteful indulgence. Overlooking the Wynn waterfall and light show, you should plan on a longer dinner. Even if you arrive too late for your reservation to have a pre-dinner drink in the lounge, duck into to see one of my favorite spaces in Las Vegas. With small tables and booths in front of the bar, I’ve enjoyed many drinks here with friends and the bar tenders are generous with their pour of the Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc. The entire restaurant menu is also available, so if you’re caught without a reservation on a busy night, you never have to wait to long to be seated and served here. Daniel Boulud treats its guest to a sophisticated, diverse menu. Personal highlights are the oysters, Maine lobster salad with hearts of palm and petit sections of orange and grapefruit, and the steak frite. Indulge in the seafood plateau and explore the other amazing dishes on the menu including the shortribs and seabass. My favorite offering on the menu is the tuna tartar which I’ve gone back for on multiple occasions. The tiny cubes of lightly dressed tuna are presented pressed in a cylinder form and sparingly topped with a refreshing cucumber yogurt…DIVINE. Seating in the main dining room allows guest to watch the water show projected on the waterfall which runs a regularly throughout the evening. I enjoy the peace of the waterfall and pool, but the spectacle of this psychedelic show will get a rise out of those watching for the first time!
