Bartolotta Ristorante di Mare at Wynn

Another superb restaurant at Wynn Las Vegas. They bring the day's fish around on ice to show diners their choices of sea bream, turbot, John Dory, prawns and (my favorite) the spiny lobster served with fresh tomatoes and olive oil - Steve Wynn is the only man in town who's enough of a purist to fly in this prickly crustacean from Sardinia for his guests. The meat was tender, sweet and elegantly presented with vegetables. We also tried the linguine with clams and the bolognese - both were outstanding. Dessert? Yes, please...my first time here I tried the bittersweet chocolate torte and second time the trio of sorbets...cassis, green apple & mango. On my next trip I'd like to try the tasting menu, but I hear it's a lot of food - great opportunitey to get a diverse sampling of the menu though! The only proper Italian restaurant in Vegas :)
