Croces is located in downtown San Diego just a block away from Horton Plaza where we parked for free. We made reservations online and that put us close to the live music. The food was delicious and the music was wonderful. We timed our visit so we could hear the jazz which starts Monday thru Thursday nights at 8pm and 8:30 pm Friday thru Sunday. To sit in the bar section you must be 21 but families are welcome in the main dining area. The restaurant is a tribute to the folk singer Jim Croce who died in a plane crash and his presence is felt everywhere - from his mural on the back wall to the memorabilia all around.
