I can't tell from the above, if "1" is "best" or the "worst"?? My rating of Shawns is "the best" on all three accounts. I was very impressed with the entire dining experience at Shawn's. My first knowledge of the restaurant was that I taste tested Shawn's entry of clam chowder at the annual Harbor Festival October 2006. That was my first taste of the Chef's works,and was very impressed. Last week, my dining experience was superb, and more than met my expectations. The dining experience was stellar, superb service and food quality/presentation, and I did not need to put on a stuffy suit or tie to enjoy my meal. The atmosphere was very warm, and I enjoyed dinner with good friends, and a select bottle of wine. I am no food critic by any means, but I am a fairly accomplished domestic cook/chef, and appreciate quality food, and the depth of flavors, ensemble and presentation put forth. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience.....there's no comparison of restaurants on the Central Coast!
