Kabuki

My Japanese husband and I often have lunch here. The atmosphere is rather basic, but the food is well prepared and the service is great. The lunch box special is a wonderful value at about $7 for teriyaki chicken, tempura and a california roll, plus salad, rice and soup. They prepare a nice saba (mackeral), and everything we've had there has been hot and tasty. Dinner is mostly a larger portion of lunch, but in the evening the focus is on the sushi. The sushi is fresh, but relatively standard offerings. It's a good neighborhood restaurant with consistent quality.

The Kabuki Japanese Restaurant is a hidden gem in Fremont. They serve authentic Japanese food for unbelievable low prices. Go to the restaurant before 7:00 p.m. and try their Early Bird Special, it is a unbeatable value for the amount of good Japanese food.
