Capital Ale House

The food and service were subpar. One person in my party ordered mussels and you could barely find them in the shell they were so small. The cesar salad was wilty and not flavorful. I would never recommend this restaurant and would not go back.

This place is ridiculous. They never have enough servers or bartenders to adequately serve the patrons. All the food comes out at the same time. Some plates will be hot while at the same time the others are cold. The price they charge for "specialty" beers is RIDICULOUS! Someone is getting rich.

This place is horrible for service. The waiters slap your food on the table and disappear. I actually had to go find my server to get some things we needed for the table. All they do is stand around and gossip and laugh to each other. The food was standard, looks like to me they stole the menu from Legends. The prices they charge for their beers is laughable. Wake up Richmond these guys are getting rich off of selling you items that are way overpriced by servers that could care less about you or your party. If I were to go back I'd probably only do so to see a band and I would drink a coke.
