Asian Express

Asian Express has some of the quickest, most delicious chinese takeout I've ever had. You shouldn't go in there expecting a gorgeously furnished and draperies etc, but the restaurant/eat-in area is comfy and clean, and doesn't resemble the fastfood booth-style eating of the norm. However, in terms of food quality, it's right up there with the best of the restaurants I've eaten in. All the food is freshly prepared, and FAST! Portioning is proper, and generally speaking they are very good at handling special requests.

Examples that come to mind:
- Breaded chicken dishes aren't soggy.
- Fried wontons and Lo mein are tasty and fresh!
- Ordering "spicy" or "not spicy" actually affects your dish.
- Sauce is never soupy/thin with the right amount of flavor.

Asian Express also has pretty tasty sushi, so I've been told, but I am not a sushi eater so this can not affect my review.

The prices are in-line with most takeout restaurants which means INEXPENSIVE! Lunch is 5 bucks and dinner is just a few more. Delivery carries no fee but there is a minimum order. If you're near campus or downtown and wondering who to try for chinese takeout, be sure this is your first stop.
