Boulevard Cafe

The desserts are wonderful here. I stop in sometimes just for the sweets. Everything I've tried is really good.

Boulevard Cafe is better known to Edmondites as 501 Cafe, as that was the name for many, many years. The food at 501 is fresh, healthful, and consistently prepared. I've never had a bad breakfast here and I dine here every Sunday. It's an easy place to stay on your diet track, with egg-white or Egg Beaters options for all eggs, turkey sausage instead of pork, and lots of fresh vegetables and fruit to choose from. You can also ditch your diet totally, as there are many sinful options as well. Children are well-catered to, with plenty of eye-popping selections such as stuffed french toast, pancakes, fresh fruit, and lots of muffins and other baked goods. The only negatives about 501 are the inconsistent wait staff and the incredible wait you will endure if you arrive after 9:30 a.m. on a weekend. Always a pleasure, with a wonderful ambiance.
