  • ReviewAt Big City Dinners we go mainly for lunches, the size of the meal is the same as the dinner meat, but at a lower price a real bargan. I love my hamburger cooked medium and it comes just as ordered everytime. The wife loves soups and salads and just about everyone is well put together and enjoyable. We have never had a bad meal at Big City Dinners in over three years and we love to take friends there for lunch whenever they are visiting Honolulu from out of town.

  • ReviewAlthough I don't care for all the televsions stragetically placed in the Ward Theater complex Big City Diner, the food is good. Ono chocolate milkshake! THere are a few vegetarian choices, which is always important to me. The portobello mushroom and the eggplant salads and sandwiches are excellent.
    Service the last time we went was so-so, other times very good. Perhaps we caught this server on an off day.

  • ReviewI have eaten at Big City Diner many times and no matter what I order whether it is breakfast, lunch, or dinner my meal is always excellent and the service is wonderful as well. I love Big City and never get tired of it.

  • ReviewNot really "diner" food like you would find on the mainland, but still good! The grilled cheese sandwich is the best I have ever had! Their garlic fries are worth the scary breath, just make sure you both eat them! Contrary to their web site, you cannot get breakfast all day... good to know, but a bit disappointing since their breakfast is really good.
