  • ReviewThis is the fourth time I have been to Mitra. I have had two good experiences years ago and two bad experiences within the last year. This past week the service was so bad I could not believe it. Dishes did not come out and there was no explanation as to what was going on. My appetizer arrived a solid 10 minutes after the rest of the table with the server making a snide comment against the kitchen. I always have issue when there is a large party ordering multiple courses and the server does not write anything down. I know some people can do it - but I don't even think our server was listening to us - she was barely looking at us - when we ordered. My friend ordered her steak medium and it was rare. They even told her it was rare when they delivered it as if this is how she ordered it. It's not a big place and we could never find our server. It seemed like they knew they had a problem but they weren't sure what to do about it. This is the same experience we had a year ago. Thankfully this time the food was at least edible. In fact it was delicious. That is the only reason I might go back again. But it will be a while - I can't risk that service again. From top to bottom it was really sub par. They can do better - I've seen it.
