One of Sarasota's best Views ForSchnurr, However this was the only good part, no service for a while after being seated. The Food!, well they should have went to the McDonald's drive through and I probably would have left a % happier
There are better places here in SRQ that have great Atmosphere to go with food that you enjoy to put in your mouth

My guests were overwhelmed by being so close to marin activity and getting great food as well. from the valet at the door to the choice of open air or under air conditioning, they were happy with my choice. Service was friendly and knowledgeable even of special requests. Good timing -not rushed since we were not on our lunch hour.

Marina Jack offers several dining venues and we went 'upstairs' as it's more quiet and we wanted to converse. Very elegant surroundings - saltwater fish tank at entry...glass walls through which we viewed the marina full of yachts and sailing vessels. Lovely. Our server was great without being intrusive - handled my special-ordering of the salad with no problem. The salmon was exquisitely grilled and seasoned and accompanying veggies (asparagus and carrots) brightened the presentation. My date had the Mahi and it was also perfectly prepared. Key lime pie and creme brulee were the only 'in house' prepared desserts...they offer 5 or 6 others (chocolate cake, caramel-filled mousse, cheesecake are those I recall) that were from Italy, per our server. Upstairs dress appears a bit more formal than downstairs dining, but, being a 'tourist town', just about any dress 'goes' in Sarasota. TWO thumbs up for Marina Jack!
