Bold Knight

this old war horse of a restaurant has been around for decades and it is time it was put out of its, and our, misery. Our party went to celebrate my father in laws 80th birthday...Big Mistake..This is supposed to be a steak house so even though the restaurant would not have been my first choice we thought they could at least do a steak.....NOT......mine was as tough and my father in law could barely catch his breath after trying to cut through his ( a bit of hyperbole)..No one including my father in law wanted to complain and spoil such an important occasion but the long faces at the table told the story...the servers barely seemed to know what they were doing and the bathroom was a major disaster,,,someone had an accident and staff did not seem inclined to clean it up...This was the kind of place you took your date on Grad night to make a good impression....not any more...

The atmosphere and food are both excellent, but not the place to go when your stopping for lunch while working. It took well over a hour to order and get our food. I will go back when I have time to spare for a leisurely meal.
