Blue Peter Pub & Restaurant

We have been there many times over the years as it is convenient to the ferry and has access by private boat from the water. However, we have noticed the quality of the food deteriorating over the years and on this particular occasion several of my companions had ordered the calamari as a starter. None of these people are given to complaining about food in restaurants but they did complain that the calamari wasn't very good. We were given the choice of having them taken away but we had waited a long time for our food already. What shocked us is that while we were eating our dinner, the "chef" appeared and straddled a chair and plopped himself down at our table and said "What's this I hear about you not liking the calamari?" He was missing several front teeth and his white jacket looked like it hadn't been washed in weeks - and neither did his hands. Basically, we felt threatened, disgusted and offended by this vulgar man. We will not go back to this restaurant ever again unless it's for drinks and something he can't ruin - like hot dogs.
