The best food in Medicine Hat. In fact I try to go other places but NOTHING COMPARES so I keep coming back. All their Pasta,Sauces,Desserts, are homemade in house which is a rare treat.
I love the Ribeye & Lobster, Veal Stack, Sesame Crusted Salmon,Kung Pow Pork and Shrimp, and many other Dishes. I usually finish my meal with Grandma Anderson's Saskatoon Pie!!!!

We went there for my Birthday this year in August with our family and it was a great experience. The food was delicious and the service impeccable! If I am planning on a special evening in the future I will go back there!

My wife and I were directed to this "Great Restaurant" by the desk clerk at the Best Western, after a long day's driving. It was a disaster and anyone who thinks tough, stringy veal, "shoe-leather" proscuitto along with an average burger is great food - - - - well, they need their head examined!!!

As we entered the premises, we were greeted by a rude hostess who couldn't cut it as a WalMart Greeter, with a dismissive offer of a "small" table in the back (a dark gloomy corner)! We had just come off the road and did not have a reservation, so I understand that it might be a bit of a task to get a table, but NEVER tell me what you CAN'T do for me, rather tell me what you CAN do!
I realized quickly that she must have been absent the day they taught Customer Service!!

So, I suggested that we sit in the bar and order off the menu and again, with a dismissive wave of her hand:
"Ya! Go Ahead!" We were tired and hungry, so away we went to the bar!

Then came the bar waitress, who appeared as though she was drunk or "ON" something, who couldn't seem to understand my order of a dry Beefeater martini, straight up. I thought I might have to draw her a picture! Well, she brought our drinks and My dry Beefeater martini turned out to be a Bombay Gin martini on the rocks! Huh?

So, back it went and she finally returned with the correct order!

Had enough yet! No? - now we get a waitress, and I use the term advisedly, and we were treated to one of the most obnoxious people on the planet! Someone, back in her past, must have told her she and her manner were funny - about as funny as screen doors on a submarine!!

The food? Ah, Yes, the food! A couple of bites and we were gone! I know that serving staff make the real money from tips, so I always tip 20% (sometimes more) for superlative service, so I am considered a GOOD tipper. Well, these people sure know how to blow a good tip!

If the folks in town think this is a "Great Restaurant, I'd hate to see their perception of a bad one!!

I woudn't suggest this "Joint" to a dog!

Done very well. We go to this restaurant about once every three months, food is always top notch in town. We have always requested a quiet table at our reservation for easy conversation and are never seated near the door or the kitchen. The owner and her staff are always very attentive and they ensure a quality dining experience. In addition we have hosted our corporate functions in the restaurant and have never worried about a thing. #1 or #2 restaurant in town depending on the night.

We've been there 5 times and every time was great. Best restaurant in MH for fine dining. Service is great, atmosphere is wonderful and food is amazing. Spaetzle was awesome. We keep coming back.

We quite enjoyed ourselves that evening, as we had great company! The food was really tasty and cooked well. The service, however, reminded us of being in a truck stop restaurant...Food was taken away when we were not finished yet; The waitress' wine service needed improvement (always serve ladies first!), and she had an abruptness about her that left much to be desired...Pricey, but nice to visit once in a while.

We had an amazing dining experience. The salmon was perfectly seasoned and juicy. The wild mushroom brushetta, which like anyone would know, was mushrroms, cheese and bread-duh, and was succulent. The steak was cooked perfectly and the spaetzle was to die for. Will definetly return, not only for the food but also fro the prompt professional service.

very poor dinning experience tonight! upon arrival we had to wait for about 3-5 min for someone to come and seat us, in a nearly empty resturant. drinks were brought right away but refills took forever and only offered once. the whole exeriance from start to finish took and hour and a half. after we ordered our food it took 25min for the appetizer to come and it was terrible. it was mushrooms on bread with cheese and no brushetta at all. do not order this. grilled atlantic salmon was very salty and greesy. the stuffed patato was good but not great. the steak was really good but i did order it medium and it more like well done. so all in all the steak was an ok. the spatzel was good but then again we had too much mushroom with the appatizer. not once did anyone ask us how our meal was, nor did they refill our drinks before dinner, or check on us. they sure were happy to hand us the bill and take our money. i do not recommend this place.
