Chicken Supreme and Penne Porto
Review
We just had dinner for the first time at South 202! We thought we had sampled all available restaurants in Milton - clearly we were wrong. We had missed the best one!!!
Although quiet, this place was a dream. The atmosphere is relaxing, the food was great and the server Mafhuz made our night especially nice. My husband enjoyed his complimentary after dinner port. We will most definitely go back - next time we may even take the kids :) - actually, maybe not!!!!

My husband and I decided to try out South 202 after reading the positive reviews on this website. We're THRILLED that we did!
Our server, Pat, was great! It's hard to get decent service these days, but not at South 202. Everyone was really nice and genuine!
The calamari was incredible (and it wasn't the typical fried calamari dish! It was healthy, and REALLY flavourful!)
The bread and hummus dip were delicious! Pat actually brought us a second round of it because we liked it so much!
My husband had the Portuguese chicken - it was cooked to perfection! I had the Tilapia Special...it was melt-in-your-mouth! The portion sizes were perfect! Normally, we waste a lot of food or have to take it home and eat it the next day (Maybe!). There was no waste at all! Although, I must admit, I wouldn't have minded having a "doggy bag" from here!
The Creme Catalana (a light version of Creme Brulee) was soooo good. Not too sweet, perfectly caramelized on top, very light, and the perfect share-size for two!
The visit was topped off with a glass of Australian Port for each of us, compliments of the house.
We absolutely loved everything about the restaurant. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score is because there's always room for improvement. I'd like to see the menu grow with even more great dishes. Also, although the quality is tops, we wouldn't be able to dine there as often as we would like because it is slightly pricier than most restaurants.
Overall: We'll definitely go back there - mostly for a special occasion, or when we feel like indulging a little!

We had one of the best dinning experiences in Milton (10 year residents and have tried everywhere) so far. We celebrated Fathers Day with one of our favorite meals ever. The 4 of us were together (which is extra special as our 20 year old daughter is usually busy) and we had a superb eveing. The service was incredible and we all sampled eachothers appies and entrees and honestly, every dish was perfect - full of flavour and beautifully presented and prepared. The Portuguese chicken is a must have and so are the ribs with the spicy slaw. The desserts were equally amazing - all homemade by one of the owners - must have the Creme Catalana? - it is a light Spanish creme brulee and simply amazing!!. Our 10 year old son was invited into the kitchen to "help" and was taught a great technique in presentation that he wants to try at home. We were given a tour and were treated like family throughout the whole meal. Just winderful from start to finish....we will be back lots!!!! Also try the salad with the grilled calamari, proschuitto and feta - it is a beautiful meak in itself....as is the mussel dish prepared with red wine toamto sauce with their crusty warm bread!!
