I had my eyes on this restaurant for a few months now and finally got a change to grab a dinner there one evening. I thought it was fantastic.
The restaurant looks great on the inside and out, and I really enjoyed the open kitchen viewing. We sat in a booth and I was able to watch the chefs cooking away the entire time. Lots of good choices on their menu. The menu is smart and filled with things I want to eat. Including a selection of dishes prepared in the wood fired pizza oven.
We ordered the Angus Brisket & Spatzle, Spring Rolls, Beer Battered Cod and Chips and Carrot Cake.
The Brisket was the winner. Delicious. Soft, tender and full of flavor. The fish and chips were as good as you can get in Ontario in my opinion. The app and dessert were great too.
Lots of items left on the menu I want to try, so I will be back soon. If you are shopping at Conestoga Mall and want a nice, fair priced dinner afterwards, I recommend Oliver & Bonacini.
