If you're looking for a French Canadian Casse-Croute experience turned into a chain, this is the place to go. Order two "steamies" (steamed hot dogs) all-dressed (relish, onion, cabbage, mustard) with fries or a poutine and a coke. It's as greasy and unhealthy as it is appealing when you're feeling indulgent... after a night of drinking, it can be quite tempting. It's cheap and bulky, but there's something historic and nostalgic about this kind of "meal" if you grew up in Quebec because it's found everywhere. You'll get your food in less than 3 minutes of ordering it. This is as "fast food" as it gets.
The poutine (a Quebecois treat featuring fries, gravy, and curd cheese) is not as good as non-chain fast food joints. The sauce is mediocre and the cheese is hardly melted so it squeaks in your mouth. It's really too bad because if they had a better poutine I would be inclined to visit more often..
