Papa's Soul Food Kitchen

Being a native Oregonian and avid lover of fried chicken, I have never had a legitimate soul food meal. I've had Popeye's chicken and Kentucky Fried Chicken, but nothing has ever been as good as the fried chicken at Papa's Soul Food. It was the best meal of my life. The service was great and the people are very friendly. When you enter the restaurant you feel as if you entered a cabin out in the humid part of the Southeastern United States where life moves a little slower, great blues music is played, and the food is heavy, filling, and tastes fantastic! The drinks are also served in mason jars which is a nice design touch, and it also helps by allowing a bigger portion of soft drink. Overall this is the best restaurant in Eugene and the best place in all of Oregon in my humble opinion.
