Washington Street Steakhouse

The chicken on the salad was too small. Thickness in the meat came primarly from the breading and was fairly greasy. The salad greens were slightly browning and certain pieces were just not for human consumption. The saving grace of 'lunch' was the boneless bufflo wings. The only item we oreded that did not have too much staff contact. Moist and spicy......very good. The ice tea? You would think 'hey come on, they can not possibly screw-up iced tea'. Think again. Ever tasted old iced tea? Exactly.
The service was a joke. Honestly. I have been to bad places and places that embarrass you with attentiveness. Washington Street leaves much be desired in the way of the waitress. Bus girls are on it. Tables set, clean and ready. The wait staff would be halfway decent if they could manage to take a shower and brush their hair before coming to work. I heard more curse words pouring from the kitchen and wait staff than iced teas being refilled. I was not impressed. I would only go back if forced.

I was impressed with the cook, Mark Anderson,he seems to be the only one tha truly takes time and makes the meals that the public orders and does it wonderfully.
