The Charles Dickens Pub

passing through Woodstock on our way home,
we decided to pay our 2nd visit the pub,
wished we could have stayed longer as they made us feel so welcome.
We will be back.

I've heard good things about this place, so we decided to try it. I felt like I was invisible from the minute I walked in there. Unless you are a regular you get treated like crap. By the time we flagged down our server and received our drinks 40 minutes had passed, so you could imagine how long the meal took. I understand if you are busy but 3 hrs for a dinner at a pub, it was terrible.

We go there very often, it is our favorite spot as a couple. We are having a small wedding in May and are having our dinner with our group there...does that tell you anything. Service is always great, food is awesome! I have seen the owner out mingling with the guests several times, with a smile on her face and a warm welcome to all she greets. Good place!

Stopped for a pint years ago on the way through town and have kept going back. Not everyone can pour a good pint. have alwas been treated well and the food is better than most pub food. We drive 1 1/4 hrs. each way.

This was our company Christmas Party. Food was amazing. Huge servings but did run out of some deserts. Waitress was good for taking food order and delivering food order but for drinks she only came around 2 times and we were there all night long. Finally had to start going to bar to get drinks and there were so many people around the bar it took forever.

We have been back to this restaurant a few times. We live in Stratford but it is definetaly worth the 30 minute drive. You know you can count on friendly service and consistantly good food. The clientele is very nice as well so it feels like a nice family pub.

Excellent Food! My meal was amazing, the prices are reasonable and the service was fast! I had an amazing meal on a half and hour lunch break!

We went for a quick beer, but the live music kept us there all night (Evan Champagne I believe was the artist)...felt like we were at a concert, expect our only cost was a tab for a couple guiness and some nauchos! We'll be back May 26th for the next show! Thx C.D.! ps. Go Leafs!
