Montana's

service was long barely saw the waitress, took forever for change after the meal, portions were small.

Brian liked his chicken a little disapointed in the mash potatoes coleslaw is excellent. Gladys really liked the Ribs very tnder and just enough sauce. finger licking good

We were happy with the service. The food came in a timely fashion. The ribs were really good. The beans were good not the best i've had- can i share my recipe with you? Good smasher. Our girls enjoyed the ice cream cones.

where to start? Ive never had such poor quality food for a party of twelve, the chicken was dry and rubbery, the veggies were bitter,
the childrens dinners, pizza and chicken tenders, were so bad I would not even feed the dog this reheat dinner.
The pot roast dinners were not bad but when the people sitting around you have a bad experience it brings the whole party in general down.
our party of 12 had a rating of 3 for this location, the whole restaurant has turned into a birthday ridden chucky cheese facility.

This review was wrote because this is the third time I,ve had poor quality from montannas and personaly have never written a review about any restaurant before.

Very nice atmosphere...friendly staff.

I took this time out of my busy schedule to tell you that the order was the worst I ever recieved by a restaurant. The pasta was dry, cold and under the pasta was oil or butter ?? The chicken was rubbery and over cooked on the out side...but it still was not even warm....the garlic bread was great. The waitress was pleasant and very nice ..The store manager was the best "George" He was more than most managers and went above and beyond his duties in being honest in saying that the order was his worst on the menu and preceeded to help make our second selection and he even brought it to us, that is customer service ! He has a great sense of customer apreciation and satisfaction. I am truly grateful for his time and attention. He also took off our first meal on our bill . The second meal was so much better , all but the baked potatoe it was only luke warm. I have been to the Moncton Montana's in N.B. and had great food. That is why I tried the new Saint John Montana's. After thinking about it I know how hard it is to start a new business and work out all the kinks. I do hope some one does read this and makes the correction in getting better food , and gives George a BIG pat on the back for his manager skills.... Thank you J. Evans

No problems.We have been eating at Montannas for years,and we have never been disappointed.When we travel across Canada when we see a Montannas sign we know the food will be excellent.

I must say that this was not the best visit there that we have had, and my husband was so dissappointed that he isn't really wanting to go back. We waited 1 hour and 20 mins for our food, we had asked for our daughters noodles to come out before ours, as soon as they could make them, well I guess it takes 1hour and 15 mins to make noodles?? they came out at about 1hour and 10 mins to say that they were sorry but my salmon was holding things up ( I don't know about you but I have cooked lots of salmon and never did it take almost 1 1/2 hours - so I am not sure what that was all about? ) the manager as I said came out at 1 hour and 10 mins and asked if he could bring out a couple corn muffins- my husband and daughter were starved so we said yes.
when the meal finally got to us , mine was in deed warm and I did like my salmon,but........my husbands rib tips were COLD, and rubbery as they had been sitting for a long while, and the beans were cold and all gummed over on the top because of it.
As well the drink that ordered _ rum and pepsi, I told the server just the cheapest one, the bar well, and I see on the bill that he charged me the premium drink price of 5.29- when I asked for the cheapest one ???? which I know is actually 4.59 from going there many times.

To top things all off our waiter never asked how the food was at all or we would have told him right there, in fact he never really came back except to lay the bill down( we were very nice friendly and considerate to him this entire time, as it is not his fault really ) but he also never gave my daughter her favorite part of the meal....the little ice cream cones, and she was upset, by this time( past the two hour mark,) we were way to tired to wait for him or even try to find him to remind him that he indeed forgot part of her meal!

so needless to say we were very disappointed and its good that this was not our first visit there, but I cannot believe that we were not offered some kind of compensation for all that had gone wrong with our meal and the unnecessary time spent, and all the while we just smiled, and we did try to tell the person taking our payment that we were a bit unhappy, all that he could suggest is that we go on line and put in a review. our code # is 30461104 from the bottom of our bill
