Good Time Charlies

We went to check this place out on St. Paddy's Day. This was THE place to be in Woodstock! Great music, good food and the atmoshere was terrific. It's your typical bar, you're not going to be impressed with fancy decor and a big city venue. This is a bar, nothing more nothing less. The staff were extremely friendly, the patrons were there to have a good time and that they did. I would highly recommend this place to any age from 20 to 60 for a night out filled with good times and great laughs. Good Time Charlies.... what more would you expect?

I can honestly say that this is the worst bar I have ever been to. The service is terrible, the food is disgusting and the music is bad!!!!!
It is distgusting that this place even exists.

All I can say is "great service"..
The Bartender was awesome and had fun while he worked. We were having a crappy day till we got there..
We all will be back and bringing our friends..

We were in town visiting a relative in the hospital and needed to leave them to rest for an hour so we went to get some local fare. We shouldève known it would go bad when the patrons at the bar looked like they had just run over from a local cheque cashing place to buy their draft...we thought about leaving and shouldève followed up!
Sent wings back (undercooked) and had the RUDE owner try to justify it (yes...argue) AS WELL AS leave these unconsumed items on the bill! Never again!!

The food was ok. How wrong can you go with a burger and fries. The owner on the other hand Dennis was very rude and did not appreciate my business because i come in only when they have the burger on special. He should maybe stop being rude to his customers and actually appreciate his customers no mater what class they are. This is woodstock not new york

Excellent food. I certainly don't mind my weight, so I enjoyed this delicious meal! The band was amazing, the drummer is great looking! I think I'm in love.

It was a good night-great food, excellent band (The Joys) and cold beer.

Some mullet-wearing Frenchman ruined it for me; he was obsessing over the drummer of the band and blocking my view. He kept trying and trying to get the drummer's attention, but failed.

Eventually he was ejected and beat-up on the street by homeless people.

I really liked the friendly service and the cheeseburgers were great. a little greesy but thats how like em.

I cant say the same thing about the band The Joys that I saw not so long ago. The music is great and the singer has a tremendous voice. The problem was that baboon like looking drummer who made weird face all night long. Me and my date would trade looks as the pathetic made us cringe. Between the spining sticks and clown face the guy would be more fit for a travelling circus.

I frequent this bar every tuesday for the past 1 1/2yrs. I normally have their burger/wing specials...and let me tell you, it's the best. I have brought burgers and wings next day to my day job, and they LOVE it..

The severs Kat, Sarah and Ange on tuesdays are excellent. Always great service, lots of laughter and always aims to please.

The bar owner is one of the best guys you could ever know. dennis runs a great bar and i always enjoy myself every tuesday i go up. i just wish i lived closer so that i could check out his weekend nightlife at the bar..i've only heard the hilarious stories.

Good Time Charlies is "The Bomb"

I attended Good Time Charlies for the third time, as I am not from this area, but a friend of mine is. I just wanted to say that I had an absolute blast this weekend. Not only did we dance the night away to some great music, but we felt we were acually appreciated! The Bartender (unsure of her name) thought up some fantastic drinks for us and had a great sense of humour! The girl who serves the shooters danced with us when noone was even dancing yet, and was friendly and fun! I will definately be visiting on a more regular basis!
