Match Restaurant is unlike any other restaurant I have ever been to before.

The Chef, Dominic Chiaromonte, who has recently been seen cooking with Opera’s chef Art Smith, is fast becoming one of the hottest chef's.

Dishes inspired by Dominic’s travels to Japan have given him an artistic flair and vision to create, and constantly push the limits of the norm. Using the most unusual placements, and garnishing with exotic vegetables and fruits one is heightened to a sense of excitement with each course.

The Bamboo rice with Lobster and Goose Berries topped with Sake was fabulous!

You have to experience this restaurant and you must do the CHEF TASTING. This way you get to meet Dominic and sample his unique cuisine.

the food is not consistent at this restaurant, it's like you're taking a chance on what day you go...i've been a few times and it's been either really good or really bad, never GREAT! The manager really needs to get his act together also, he's also never consistent, one time you get smiles and greetings from the staff and the next they diss you!

What a pitty... food was absolutely excellent, the best ever, but then there is the service. What a failure in service! Waitress failed to tell us what the day's specials were. Had to ask for bread while others who came in after us got it without asking. Had to ask yet again for the supposed complimentary olive oil and balsamic vinegar that goes with the bread. The waitress said "... sorry, some people do not like that..." for not giving the oil + vinegar. Could have offered it, no? What about the other tables, did they advise that they like it as they were seated?? Then to top it off, they charged 6% GST while the real rate = 5%. They did remove the beer from the bill for that mistake. Too bad! Will let the owner/chef know because the food was outstanding and the restaurant nicely decorated, should not fail because of bad hiring choices.

The food was delicious! But for students, wanting to share, we got snubbed at by the waitress. The less than perfect service is part of the laid back atmosphere. However the food was amazing, so I would go back again. For first time goers, the exterior doesn't give the interior justice. Would never have found the place if it wasn't for recommendations.

It was fantastic. Atmospehre, service and of course the food was great!!

Really, visited this place in April and it was not even worth writing about, no good reviews whatsoever...suddenly it has half decent reviews??? It's just okay.

I would definetly return for my business lunches & bring my family for dinner.
