  • Mi Mi Gardens has the best Spring Rolls, and rice paper rolls ever! They make their Hoisin sauce themselves, as well as the sauce that comes with the Spring Rolls. We had their Special Pepper Shrimp, Grilled Chicken Mixed Vegetables over Rice Noodles, and their Tofu Balls, which is their new special. I love how they accommodate customers with allergies, especially those who are allergic to MSG! Also, we were able to alter our dishes by getting Rice Noodles instead of Egg Noodles. Their staff is super friendly and they have great service!

  • Mimi's food is always good but there service is junk. They dont have good service people and the chef does not redo orders that people like. I do enjoy a number of different dishes, but the best thing about Mimis are their vegetarian spring rolls- THE BEST IN THE CITY. Overall its a good food experience but a horrible service experience. Its not that the food is slow to come out of the kitchen, but that you do not really feel any kind of good atmosphere or service around you. But go there to try their divine spring rolls.

  • We go here often - every 2 or 3 months, and sometimes get takeout.

Huge selection of vegetarian dishes. The food has been consistently good to great. Vegies done well. Great place to go if you have vegetarians and meat eaters together in your party.

  • Order: lots of different things - favs include barbecue tofu, lemon mushrooms, many others

I recommend the Rice Noodle Rolls. They are served with a hoisin sauce that I believe they make themselves.
The tofu has a good texture unlike some places I've had it.

  • Order: Rice Noodle Rolls with Tofu, Spicy Tofu Cakes.

Fried rice had much too much garlic. The soo gui gravy was gross. I think you get what I'm saying about the food. It was not to our taste, but that is not the worst part. Customer service needs a major upgrade: the restaurant-owner did not seem to care about the situation - i.e., the gray hair we found in the fried rice. There was no resolution and they denied the hair we found in our food was theirs. However, none in our party has gray hair. Oh well.

There were also no condiments included with our (expensive) order. Will not be going back.

  • Order: chicken balls , mushroom fried rice and chicken soo gui, spring rolls, beef and chinese greens.

  • John's Mimi Gradens is a pleaseant experience all around. The food is outstanding in it's taste and presentation. Much more so than the brother's rendition and original Mini Restaurant, where the maitre d' is rude, inattentive and severely obnoxious. The staff here is much more polite, so if you want to have your vietnamese-asian fusion fix, this is the place to go in Windsor.
