Mazaar Restaurant

They have the most fresh, and by far the best bread ever! Their Shish Tawook is really good. During the lunch hour it comes with Fattoush, Hummus and Bread. And the price is reasonable for a good sized portion lunch. Their restaurant is absolutely beautiful, and it has a great atmosphere. Their service is good, and their staff is quite quick and friendly.

The atmosphere is awesome... beautifully decorated and a man plays music in the background. How often do u see that?! The first time we went there it wasn't very busy; the food was great as was the service.

Second time around we were seated promptly even after saying we did not have reservations. Food was fantastic. I am in love with their garlic dip.

We will be back!

I come to Windsor often to visit my parents, and try to treat them out as much as possible.
I recently discovered Mazaar after trying few others in town.
I'm speechless and so impressed by this quality establishment to be in a small city like Windsor, we dont even have like it in Michigan!!!

The food and service were worth every penny we spent, I actually believe the menu is underpriced!!

Thank you Mazaar staff for making our dining experience so unforgettable and for the extra fresh pitas you gave mom to take home :)

I had been to this restaurant a couple of months ago, and I was really impressed. We ordered the Chef's platter and it was so nicely cooked. The meat was tender, the salad fresh. Everything was delicious!

Because of this visit, my family and I decided that we would order from Mazaar for take out for 7 people. We ordered fatoush salad for 7 and chicken shawarna for 7. The waitress had assured me that there would be ample chicken for our party. Unfortunately, our salad was larger. I called the restaurant, and unbeknownst to me, I was speaking with the owner. He told me that he would order me more. In the end, he delivered an entire duplicate order of the amount we had first ordered, and gave us more pita for absolutely no cost!! We were all extremely impressed with his customer service. Not only is the food wonderful, but for an owner to be that committed to his customers speaks volumes about the quality of this restaurant. This is our new favourite spot, and you better bet that we will be visiting this place often!

This is by far the best Lebanese Restaurant I've visited EVER. Despite Windsor's large Lebanese population, the mid-eastern restaurants here sucked and we always had to go to Lashish or Talal's in Michigan for a good meal with a glass of wine.

When Lashish closed down, a friend recommended Mazaar. It definetely beats Lashish by all means; the quality, the fresh pita, the flavour, the decor, the attenttion you get from staff and above all the PRICE!! (did I mention that it smokes every Lebanese restaurant in Windsor)

I have become a die hard Mazaar customer and been witnessing this place just getting better and better, and busier and buiser everytime I visit. It's packed on weekends and there is a wait for an availbale table.

The portions are excellent, and the meat is so tender and juicy. Very pleasant staff, relaxing and classy atmosphere. Highly highly recommended.

We had a wonderful meal at Mazaar! Loved the atmostphere, and the 'live' music by the keyboard player. Service was attentive, nothing bad to say at all. The food was yummy, yummy, yummy -
I too was stuffed when I left, because I just couldn't stop eating. The platter fed us both wonderfully, with left overs for the next day. All for under $45, tip included. What more could you ask for?

Love this place! You used to get the mixed pickle and garlic sauce platter to go with the fresh-baked bread (simply the BEST bread in town), but you have to ask for it special now, but this place rocks.
You'll leave stuffed because you can't stop eating this food-- it is sooo good.

Mazaar is by far and away the best lebenese restaurant in windsor... I have dined there 5-6 times now it has been excellent... The food is deffinetly between a 9 or 10, atmospehere 8-9, and the service is between 7-8... It's a great place for a business lunch or to bring a date...

Appearance:
This is the best looking middle eastern cuisine restaurant in Windsor. Beautiflly decorated and obviously clean.

Food:
The food was very good. The fresh baked bread was the highlight of the dining experience both times I went.

Service:
The service was a bit lacking. They were initially very slow with bringing the bread out as they were baking it and serving it. We would get six pieces of bread, which amounted to 1 per person in our group. We would finish the bread in maybe 1 minute and have to wait 5 minutes before we got more bread so we could resume eating. They eventually wre able to bring out more bread at a better pace. The 2nd time we went the bread came out quicker. The server we had the 1st time was very nice, the server we had the 2nd time wasn't spectacular by any means.

Overall, this is a good restaurant to eat, the food is good, the atmosphere is good. It's a bit on the expensive side for what you get. If you want a good meal with nice atmosphere and good food eat here. If you want a good meal for less money and a less formal environment try El-Mayor.

It's a fantastic experience in Windsor “finally”. The decoration is like a piece of art by itself, I absolutely love it. It brings all precious Lebanon into one place, made me home sick though. The food is amazing, high quality and delicious. I'm Lebanese and I know what Lebanese food should taste like. The meets were so tender and rich in flavor. I loved the rice the most. Hummos and Baba Ghannoug are so good. My mom makes better Tabouli ;). I recommend it to all who have a taste for authentic foods and would like to see the beauty of Lebanon.
