Malic's Restaurant & Delicatessen

This place is an institution. Guaranteed to satisfy even the most discerning critic like myself, simply brisket on rye heaven. I recommend you always order just corned beef on rye with fries and a coke. It is after all the house specialty since 1936. The fries are always fresh and complement the sandwich perfectly. You have to eat here to experience "old school" atmosphere and intoxicating aromas of corned beef and famous Blak's rye bread baked just a few blocks east of here. I come in often and take a few sandwiches for take-out. No place like home. No place like Malic's this side of Montreal either. The classic bright red vinyl booths are looking a bit tired now. The place seems to have never changed in the last few decades and thank you Malic for keeping it that way.

I dont know anywhere that has an atmosphere such as malics. It has a feeling of a real diner, Deli display that makes the average hungry customer easy to make a descision what to order. Specials the minute you walk in displayed! Service is excellent. Food gave off a warm home feeling. regardless of price. You are paying for Quality and Service.

Over priced for processed chesse and charginf for essentials like tomatoes and pickles and other condiments...

I have been going to this restaurant for over 20 years!!!!! Excellent sandwiches, and they make a great breakfast too!!!!

We have been there before for lunch and the food is always great, the service is top notch, and the rye bread is DELICIOUS! We will DEFINITELY return and will tell others about this gem!
