This restaurant is better left to Windsor folk who just haven't had better asian food (better, like from King's or Eat In Thailand), so that they might appreciate it even more.
Granted, I was once one of the ignorant many and ordered from Flying Tiger on a weekly basis. It was better than Dragon's Inn (the only other asian restaurant I'd tried in Windsor at the time), closer to my house and a few bucks cheaper.
After having tried a few other places, I went back to Flying Tiger, and found myself sorely disappointed. I realized that the ample helpings of (dry) fried rice and oversized (bland) egg rolls only served to fill me up, rather than actually satisfy my taste for asian food. I bit into a chicken ball and realized that there was twice as much batter as there was chicken. The General Tsao's just didn't have the same kick as it used to. To make things worse, one of my friends contracted food poisoning that same night.
Sadly, I don't think I'll be returning to my formerly favorite restaurant; just because I've moved on to bigger and better things.

I've eaten chinese food at popular places in Toronto and in Windsor, and none compare to Flying Tiger. The portions are perfect, I always leave full. The quality of the food is unrivaled.

We've tried other "Chinese" restaurants for delivery but always go back to Flying Tiger. Their service, food and prices can't be beat.
At request, they've kept our phone number on computer with our address and previous orders which makes ordering SO easy. Such pleasant, knowledgable staff.
I'm not into "chicken balls and chop suey" but Flying Tiger has a menu that suits my tastes. Favourite items? Do you like reading? I could list almost half the menu. I'll just point out some things that are outstanding and must be tried (with item number on delivery menu):
A2. Vegetable soup - simple but incredible broth flavour.
A12. Pan fried chicken dumplings - wow! Taste bozanza!
E9. Fried Chicken with Mixed Vegetables - such tender, tasty chicken and crisp veggies.
F6. Beef with Broccoli - the best ever, anywhere! Crispiest, best tasting broccoli I've ever had in my life with the most tender, "mmm! crying out with the first taste" beef.
"18". Yang Chow Fried Rice - for those who like the flavour of rice rather than soy sauce.
J2. Beef with Ginger and Green Onion - major flavour.
J6. Singapore Noodles - can't get enough!
L3. Spicy Garlic Green Beans - if you like lots of taste, this is a must.Well, there's my two cents and with Flying Tiger's prices you'll have a lot left over in your pocket than that.

Overall this place's food is good. I go dinner a lot here with my friends when we don't feel like cooking. And its a nice place to eat Chinese food as dinner. I basically ate most of the dish on their menu and overall the food are good.

Our dinner was beyond OUTSTANDING. Service was excellent, staff was extremely helpful and friendly, and prices were more than reasonable. Portions were very generous with leftovers neatly packaged for home. Without a doubt, Flying Tiger Restaurant is one of Windsor's finest Chinese restaurants catering to a variety of Asian and non-Asian clientele. It was a most rewarding dining experience and one we hope to repeat often. Our deepest thanks to Yvonne and the staff. You guys do terrific work and your culinary offerings re-define the phrase "to-die-for"!

I am somewhat a Chinese coinoisseur when it comes to the food, and this place, for the traditional Chinese fair, including the dishes you will not find on the menu, are amazing. However, for those who love the truly Americanized Chinese food, blegh, watch out. Their style of breading is thick, mushy and doughy, quite revolting. Everyone talks about how amazing the soo guy is here, but if you're at all interested in authentic Chinese fair, stay away from the traditional Canadian favourites on the menu, yuck. Otherwise, this place is AMAZING!!!
