Great romantic place that doesn't get enough credit. Really surprised at how good the food and service was. They ran out of steak so they made a chef's special with chicken that was superb. Ample portions at a really resonable price. Would highly recommend this location.

The food was well prepared and served at a perfect temperature. The pastas were al dente and not too, too sauced if you know what I mean. The veal chops were cooked to order and nicely accompanied by potatoes that weren't too greasy. All meals came with soup or salad, and the soup was good, but not hot enough. The salads were kind of skimpy and there was too much dressing, but it was good. Good service for such a large party on a relatively busy night. Needs more choice for dessert menu and coffee.
- Order: Variety of meals mainly pasta, steak and chops

To start, Toni served us a wonderful crusty Italian bread with olive oil, balsamic vinegar, cheese and pepper. It's such a great combo. We ordered the carpacio and bruschetta for appetizers, along with a bottle of their house red wine. The carpacio literally melted in our mouths, and the bruschetta was out of this world. You could actually taste all of the flavours. Next came the salad with the amazing garlic dressing. This is by far the best salad dressing - flavourful, yet not overpowering. For the main course I had the pennette with meat sauce. Talk about spicy! The sauce got its kick from jalapeños. This is a twist that I wouldn't expect in Italian cooking. For dessert we all split the Tiramisu, which is the perfect size and truly outstanding. It's not too sweet, and goes wonderfully with a nice espresso or cappucino. The best part of the whole experience though, is Toni. After not having been to the restaurant after a year, she still remembered us, took time to chat and explain everything on the menu. It's rare today to see someone so passionate about what they do.
