Tilted Kilt

I popped in after work for a cooler. I try to do this when Ellen is on because she's very attentive and sociable. This day she wasnt there. I was served my drink by someone with a long face and then promptly ignored for the next 45 minutes. I felt completely invisible!
Granted, its wonderful to be efficient behind the bar, but keep in mind that good people skills are part of the job!
My next drink, followed by dinner, were enjoyed at The Firkin, thankyou.

My wife and I have enjoyed going to the Kilt on the occassional Thursday evening for a number of years now. Last night may have been the last.

We sat at a table RIGHT IN FRONT OF THE BAR for 10 minutes. Not one staff member even acknowledged we were there, although the place was far from busy.
I eventually went to the bar to place our order.
Once food was delivered no one ever came by to ask how it was, if our drinks were ok, if we wanted anything else. I had to ask for napkins (I'ms having wings!) had to flag a waiter down to order another beer etc. Just atrocious service.
The waitstaff and bartender were having a good time socializing however.

To enhance the experience for us the kitchen made sure my wings were dried out and overcooked.

I used to really enjoy the Kilt but after this experience I cant say I will be back

Friendly waitress, excellent food, excellent prices! I always order the pizza rolls, they are a big favourite of mine. The lunch specials are excellent!!! Less than $10 for a sandwich, salad and soup! You can also exchange your side dish for perogies as a side at no extra cost and they are excellent!

I really love the sandwiches, they are served on nice fresh bread, I have had the egg and black forest ham. My husband always gets the pasta dishes, or the greek wrap and loves them.

Two of my friends and myself ordered Ribs wings combo and others ordered the team platter. The Food was really good and the price was realistic. I would say, the best food I have eaten recently.

My wife and I have been long time clients of the Kilt... since the new ownership things have gone WAY down hil.. the wings looked like they were from a dried up old chicken...or maybe it was a rat... the service was bad from the get go.. can't remember her name but man she looked upset didn't say hello nothing...

Sorry won't be going back after years of going there.. I hear Darren has a new place down the street...maybe we should check it out.. another great place is Magwyers in Ajax.... much happier place and by far better food

wings were great....staff is very friendly and efficient..been going there for years...will continue to do so....

the wings are awesome and so are the deep fried pickles and the girl who served me was so funny and cute i will be going back regualrly on sundays for 241 wings

By far the best chicken wings i've ever had and a nice place to go to.

My boyfriend and I have come to view the Kilt as our neighbourhood pub! The staff are what make it a great place - Darren, Rachel, Terry and Skip are all awesome. The food is always great - thanks to the chef!

excellent lunch. soup was great and the sandwitch was to die for. The cook sure knows his business. def. would return.
