Teriyaki House

We've been to all of the all you can eat sushi restaurants in Oshawa and Whitby (as far as I know) and this was by far the worst. They use imitation crab meat in their crab tempura and in their sushi. The Pink Philadelphia rolls had some kind of sweet (strawberry?) cream cheese in them and tatsted terrible. The salmon was fishy. The gyoza were small, plain and overdone and come with a wasabi sauce which didn't really go well with them. The crispy spicy rolls and the coconut ice cream were the only good things we ate there. We won't be going back.

Our family and friends have been coming here for years and we love it! More so now having been through a beautiful makeover, the place looks fantastic! Tastefully done with all the right decorative touches that helps to make any occasion perfect.

You have to try this place out – the food, the attentive service and now the atmosphere is great!

I live in Toronto and have my choice of fine sushi restaurants but I have yet to find one I enjoy half as much as Teriyaki House

The food was fine, unfortunately the restaurant was so dirty I don't think I would go back. My shoes stuck to the floor, and there was food stored in the hallway outside the equally filthy restroom. I also didn't enjoy the air conditioning blowing full blast under the table. To remedy this the waitress put a grimy phone book on top of the vent.

this is the BEST japanese restaurant in ontario! I live in toronto and i come all the way to Whitby just to eat here!!! MMMMM I LOVE ITTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!

I have been to this restaurant scores of times and I will continue to do so. Yes, the sushi pieces are smaller and thinner sliced than other local Japanese restaurants, but remember it's ALL YOU CAN EAT!

The quality of the food and service is exceptional. I recommend this restaurant to all who enjoy Japanese cooked and/or uncooked alike.

Honestly, this is the worst sushi I've ever had in my life. The sashimi was even worse. The quality was horrbile and the colour was stained. We refused to pay for dinner as it was the worst quality ever and we suffered from near food poisoning because of the quality. stay away!

This is Whitby's best Japanese restaurant. The staff are excellent. the food is excellent and the price is excellent. What more can you say? It's excellent!!

Very quick service and excellent sushi; the staff are very friendly with us, but I feel as if they shouldn't be because we're eating their fridge empty at the prices they charge us!!!
