Milestone's Whitby

We had our recent Christmas party here for work with 12 people. Had a blast! The food was amazing, the service brilliant and the value for money was even better. We frequent here as we live close and will come back for sure. Well worth the time spent planning, as the management and staff made us feel very welcome and accomodating to our needs..

By far this has been one of the best restaurants I have been to in a long time.

The food is extremely flavourful and the service has always been excellent. The staff has always been over the top friendly and extremely helpful and honest with their products. Prices are reasonable. The overall experience will leave an impression for a long time.

Great atmosphere... this restaurant has a rich, dark decor which makes for a very nice dining experience.

The service is good, and the food is usually very good. I have nothing but good things to say about their California Burger, American Burger, Wild Mushroom Soup, Mediterranean Chicken, Kobe Meatloaf, and Prime Rib Hash (during weekend brunch).

Last night, I decided to try their special which included Caesar Salad and Top Sirloin with Shrimp. The steak, shrimp, and accompanying garlic mashed potatoes were done to perfection, but the caesar was disappointing as the greens were fairly limp and there wasn't much flavour (which is not at all characteristic of the majority of their dishes)..

The prices aren't for those on a tight budget, however the quality and atmosphere does earn them the ability to ask the prices they do.

I'll continue to go back to this location, and would recommend it to others, however I'll probably stick to their appetizers and entrees and avoid the salad.

THe food and service is definitely worth the wait! We had the baked goat cheese appetizer which was the perfect size for two. The Prime Rib melts in your mouth. Portions are exactly what they should be for their price. Service was impeccable, the waitress practically read our minds!

Not busy which was nice, we got to sit right away.
Found the waitress to be a little snooty.
Spinach dip was horrible. Tasted like cream of chicken soup.
Salad had a hair in it which wasn't noticed until almost done (manager took it off our bill) and shrimp was pretty good but the salad that came with it was lacking.
A little too pricey I find.
Food isn't that great that they can charge those prices

waited about an hour on sat nite around 8ish before being seated....starving at this point and disappointed they do not offer any bread basket of any kind....menu is quite small, variety lacking, very small portions with high prices....45 minutes before food arrives and we are not impressed at all by this point but are hoping the food is worth the wait.....caesar salad was horrible....it was drowning in garlic.....probably to cover the horrible greens used....and my husbands steak was smaller than the mushroom they served on his plate....overall we were very disappointed with both meals....and the service was very slow ......very nicely decorated restaurant but not worthy of a return visit from us.....we left still hungry.....never again will we go there!!!!!!!!!!!

We have gone to this restaurant multiple times while the prices are a little on the higher end the food and service have always been good.Not the best place for the little ones but great for a night out with the adults.we always order the white chocolate cheesecake-it's to die for.Only problem I've had was making reservation they are not too keen on smaller parties.
