Golden Griddle Family Restaurant

I'm not a fan of the breakfast buffet. I've tried it a couple of times hoping that it would improve, but it is pretty much standard fare. The scrambled eggs taste like the liquid or possibly powdered egg that one can purchase. They definitely don't taste like fresh eggs. I don't eat the bacon as it appears to have been sitting for some time. The toast is okay as you make it yourself.

First of all, let it be said that "breakfast" and "buffet" do not belong in the same sentence! Nowhere is this more evident than at the Golden Griddle. The only high point to this experience was the lady behind the grill that makes fresh omlettes. The bacon was dried out and overcooked, the pancakes were similar in texture to a sponge, and to top it all off, the coffee was barely drinkable. If not for the omlettes, I would have walked out and found somewhere else to eat! Also, the price wasn't something they readily advertised, most likely due to the fact that most people are not willing to shell out $14.95 a person for a sub-par meal, let alone a horrible breakfast.
