Noodle Hut

Food- Food were great. The noodles were tasty. I like how they adjusted to my taste by putting less oil.

Price & Portion- One of the cheapest in Waterloo, portion are pretty huge. No problem here.

Service- The owner is Taiwanese. She was polite and patient when we couldn't pick our order and suggested some great selection to us.

Atmosphere- Small (not in a bad sense), appropriate decoration.

Overall- Great simple Chinese restaurant. The price and portion is very well-suited to students. Will definitely return for more future visits.

Tried Raintree Cafe besides it but they're so full that we need to reserve beforehand, so we visited Noodle Hut instead

It's small, with nice Chinese decoration, decent Chinese food and Taiwanese waitress. Free wonton soup for lunch as well. Combos range from $6 to $9 and was big portion

Would visit again if I crave Chinese

i simply must say that the chicken was so delicious that i bought another to go for later there service is very excellent, the spring rolls where good to and the chicken balls were fried to perfection i recommend this place for anyone that is near to this place

Portions are a great size and food is cheap. Great for a student budget.

I've ordered the shrimp and cashew nut dinner before, which i liked more than the tofu dinner.

Staff is very courteous!

This is the only restauraunt that I have put their phone number into my phone so if I was running late or driving straight from work to school I could call ahead for pick up.

Portions are great, food tasted great. Makes me want to live in Waterloo again.

When the food came, it looked good. When it went into my mouth, it was way too salty and it had a sour taste to it.

The portions were good, however.

This is clearly the best restaurant for students in the University area. The service is fast, the staff is personable (and funny), and they take one-card. Do it up.

No no no. All of their food that I have tried (and on various occasions I've sampled many dishes in hope that one would be edible) have a weird, chemical aftertaste. Poor vegetarian selection. Only the noodles are palatable and they are very greasy. Terrible spring rolls.
