Lucy's Seafood Kitchen

It had been a while since I dined at Lucy's, and the place has really gone downhill.

We used to come in all of the time, and it was a pleasure. The food was great, and we loved our favorite server, Reid.

Upon returning, we got several dishes from the sum sum menu. The food wasn't up to par, but we brushed it off as a fluke.

Our server was in-your-face, rude, and unkempt. The manager was creepily staring at our table the whole lunch, too. I guess he had nothing better to do.

Afterward, we were left missing the old Lucy's standards.

I order something new every time, sometimes it is not good (Vanilla with some kind of fish and the maple fish are not good), but thankfully my boyfriend always orders the same white sauce fish that is always good and he feels sorry for me and then we trade.

Food good except for the crab cakes... staff seemed occupied with personal business and not very interested in the customers.

I was very pleased with my meal. I was not happy with lack of attention for my daughter in getting her crayons, drink right away and it was pricy for a childs meal.

Possibly the best pasta you've eaten might be here. You might be asking yourself, "in a non-italian restaurant"? I don't know about you, but whatever they've done to the seafood pasta, I like it a lot.

The Penne pasta was perfectly cooked, with scallops, fish fillet, and other seafood swimming in the exquisite rose sauce. While I agree that it's pricy at $16, I am inclined to say it's worth every penny, especially with all the seafood. The portion was good, the service was good, and I'm glad I didn't order from the happy hour menu while I was there... otherwise I would miss out on this culinary perfection.

I used to like Lucy's a lot for their seafood, but the more I visit the more I find it indifferent. Their sum sum menus for Sunday & Monday do offer various selections at cheap price, so nice way to try a few things

Visited here with parents, and waiter wrote down the wrong menu item and we got chicken curry (which we tried last visit already), and the waiter didn't apologize but said he confirmed with us (that we said "yep" when he asked), and that he could re-order the food again
I know it wasn't really anybody's or a big fault, but the feeling wasn't so good on how they handled it IMO

In the end, food was okay, seafood pasta was still good and filled with a lot of seafood. Chicken curry was a tad spicy, jack daniels burger was big, but dry and source average. May visit again, but not anytime soon

We were very excited to try an "authentic" restaurant and while the food was ok, the place lacked the finer qualities we like. The server was for lack of a better term, pushy. He did not read us very well and ruined our experience a bit.

Took my parents out for dinner. It was a bit noisy in the main dining room but we were seated in the back room. The waiter was great since my Mom has Celiac disease he was running back & forth to the kitchen to make sure that there was no gluten in the dinner she was getting. My husband & Father really enjoyed their pasta dishes. Lots of seafood in both dishes. The marlin was a good size, we both took home leftovers. We really enjoyed the fresh veggies. We will keep this on our list of places to go.

Our first visit to Lucy's was great. The kid's meals were very generous and good value (one had nachos for $3 and the other had a variety platter for $7). My snow crab was excellent. One note - why bother with rice & veg? And there should be a shell bowl with the meal. Hubby's pasta was excellent. Meals were delivered quickly. Waiter was trying a little too hard with the table next to us, but hey...he's angling for tips, after all. Slightly too dim but overall it was a great experience and we will definitely go back!

Great service, music; fab food. No complaints and will go again (often!)
