Meal was disgusting. It involved a lot of cheese and pasta but was bland to the max. I didn't even finish it. The chairs are bright red, and almost liek it's from the 70's, which would be cute had they not been almost destroyed.
Service was average but not personal.
However, my other companions enjoyed their curry-like dish. - Order: Cheese Pasta?, curry rice
- Ugh!

I enjoy going there becaus its a nice place to hang Everytime i go there with a group of friends we usually get BBT. At the end of the meal we ask for the bill which comes all on one bill. We ask if the bill can be split and we are told we cannot. So now 10+ of us who all have 20's have to decide how we are going to pay... pain in the ass. What place cannot split a bill?? every restaurant i go to assumes 5+ people equals separate bills

Food was okay, not too bad
However, the drinks were too powdery for both drinks we orderedRed bean was just powder and no real red bean; mint chocolate was just awful as well. I'd definitely skip the drinks here
No wonder they have 100+ items on the food menu, in a student market it makes sense

We came in after a meeting at the university for some food. A group of five students. We were seated and then the waitress takes our orders. One person has dietary restrictions and wants to order something on the menu, but is told they no longer have it, so he comes up with an alternative that has crab meat. (So it says) Another receives a drink that he didn't ask for because he can't have milk and the waitress goes to find out if they will replace it. He is told he may have to pay for the drink he cannot have! They decide to replace it for free. The meals come out and it's not crab but immitation crab on the meal! My friend, frustrated, just pushes it aside. When the time comes I ask the waitress for my portion of the bill so I could excuse myself to catch the last bus. I am informed they cannot split the cheque. But would we like the cheque now? Of COURSE I want it.
The food is mediocre at best, the service is attrocious (we had to fight with the waitress four times because she wanted to charge us for her mistakes) and it was such a horrible experience. NEVER RETURNING.

I have been a frequent customer for the past 4 years and im sorry to say this but the place is going downhill, about 5 months ago they have changed to new management and they made some seriously bad decisions!
-they raised all the prices without changing the original prices on the menu first and charge you anyway
-took things off the menu but left it on their anyway to give ppl the wrong idea
-they dont offer 40% of the bbt flavours on the menu
-made portions smaller
-watered down their soups
-watered down the bbt!!
-they no longer serve beer in a bottle they give it to you in can! how tacky! (what is this a frat party?!)
This place used to be a frequent hang out spot for my friends and I but the food is so dissapointing we cant afford to waste any more money here, nobody is happy with their food and it just ruins the evening because the wait-staff is inconsiderate and un-attentive... its a shame, they really had something great going for a couple a years - Order: coconut bbt/ honeydew bbt satay beef on fried noodle portugese chicken

I love this store's wings and spicy salted squid(especially when comes with drinking with friends). The music is kinda loud, but it's perfectly alright when drinking. They seems make some changes on the menu, some of the new stuff is pretty good, like the house fried rice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They open till 3am every friday(and sat?im not sure), which is a reli gd place to drink and hang out with friends!

We came in to the restaurant and seated ourselves as there was no one at the door to show us to a table. The waitress came five minutes later to give us a menu. The lunch specials looked pretty good and came with a soup and drink so we each ordered one. It took around 45 minutes for them to serve us the soup and tea which we ordered with our meal. The soup was thick and tasteless...looked like cream of corn but the texture made it almost like drinking puke. The tea was not Hong Kong style tea as written on their menu...it looked like milk with a little bit of tea and LOTS of sugar. I couldn't drink either. The main dish was alright by Waterloo standards. Service was horrible. I think they only employ one waitress at the busiest times and they are rude when we asked them how much longer the food was going to be. She said it was "beyond their control"...hmmm .
Terrible.
- Order: Lunch specials: rice with lemon chicken, rice with bbq pork and egg
