This is a great restaurant because of their good tasting food and their variety. It is really hard to find a GOOD chinese restaurant with lots of seafood options. Most places have only one, like shrimp fried rice.
The food is really good. It's always cooked properly, the sauces taste great. Its also quite affordable.
The service is VERY fast. The first time I went there I was kind of annoyed because they weren't even giving us a chance to look at the menu. They asked us for our order about every 2 minutes until we ordered. But every visit after that, that wasn't a problem. It depends on the servers, and the time of day.
There isnt a lot of parking available. There is one parking lot nearby, but you have to walk a bit, and its very expensive.

The restaurant has become very well known, not only in the Toronto area, but in nearby USA area (New York).
Located on the second floor. There is NO nearby parking. It is downtown Toronto. There is ALWAYS a lineup down the stairs onto the street.
The food is basic and consistent. Mostly meals on top of steamed rice or on noodles. Their curried beef / chicken or chili dishes are medium hot, and can be adusted up to eye watering hotness.
One big dining area. Tables close to each other. Loud talking. This is hard core eat, pay and leave. The servers gather at one end and watch the customers. When you finish a meal, you get the bill. You are expected to leave as there are people waiting. This is NOT a place to go for a fancy evening meal.
Tables are covered in white plastic for easy clean up. You are given chop sticks, and must ask for a fork.
The food is always good. That's why there is always a lineup.
In the past, there have been health department warnings: see the Toronto DineSafe reports on this restaurant. Minor yellow flag citations. They were quickly resolved and back to green status.
It is a popular restaurant that serves authentic dishes at a reasonable price.
Service is usually fast.
Once you go there, you will go back. It is one of those places people consider a unique culteral experience in the heart of Toronto. - Order: Curried chicken on steamed rice
