Terroni Restaurant (Balmoral)

Great food, amazing service, exceptional wines. I love the authenticity of the food and I think it's great that they don't make substitutions. I would definitley go back there!!!

To be frank, I haven't tasted better Italian food in the city of Toronto and I've been to Italy many times. The pasta and pizza dishes are simply some of the most delicious, authentic in the city.

Service is quite snippy and rude, I have found on my many visits. If you're willing to deal with this and the somewhat costliness of the food, I recommend it.

I love Terroni! I have never had a bad meal there, and there is always something new on the specials list that makes you mouth water. I like to stick with old favourites but this is real pizza like in Italy and real IItalian desserts. And the prices are great, there are very few places in Toronto where you can get a good Italian meal for so reasonable a price. The only problem is the parking...yes, there is a lot across the street so you can always find something, but if you are looking for street parking on Balmoral, fuhgedaboutit!

If there were ever a truly authentic Italian pizza dining experience to be had in Toronto, this is it - BY FAR. If you enjoy Pizza Pizza, Pizza Hut, 2 4 1, etc., then stay away, because you just won't "get it" at Terroni. That is to say, the pizza here is thin, with fresh, natural ingredients, and is the closest thing you can come to a truly authentic Italian pizza experience. I am Italian, and have visited various parts of Italy many times over, and I assure you this is THE place to eat pizza in a really cool atmosphere. Be aware - it is ALWAYS busy, regardless of the day of the week, or time you go. Notwithstanding, it is still worth the visit. Decor is trendy-rustic (reminds me in a way of what Grano's is like, at Yonge and Eglinton). Highly recommend Terroni to any and everyone!
