I have lived in Toronto for a few years now and have tried a lot of sushi restaurants. I found the sushi here to be below average. The best sushi place I recommend in Toronto is Daily Sushi at Yonge/College. Nothing has came close to being as good as this sushi! The place looks like a bit of a hole from outside but the food definately makes up for it!

Each time we go to this restaurant the service is SLOW or basically NON-EXISTENT! What the heck! They know it's going to be busy, yet only two servers are running around like Chickens with their heads cut off!! We sat there for 20 minutes and no one even brought over menus. We were there on a Sunday hoping for a good meal. The time we went previously, the food was decent (nothing to write home about...) but still, the service was slow, rude, and just lame. We gave up and left this time, and went to Sushi Queen instead and it was AWESOME!!

THIS Restaurant ROCKS! I love the decor, it's very modern, adds a little Japanese twist to it :)
makes dining very enjoyable, sushi tasted great, and the price is great too :D I love the waitresses, they're cute and nice and help you even if the restaurant is busy... and that's a bonus!
THis is the best restaurant especially compared to HO SU on Queen which their food was garbage.
I definitely will be coming back to this restaurant!

The decor is nicer than the previous location. Though, this place can get really noisy when it is busier. The waiter mixed up our order but he changed it afterwards.
Their quality of food must have gone down a lot. As we hadn't had a bite to eat earlier in the day, it was very odd that the food ended up making us sick after we left the place.
The spicy salmon roll didn't taste as good as other places as well.
I probably won't come back unless I'm around the area with no place left to go. - Order: Sashimi combo, Softshell crab, spicy salmon roll

I really like the atmosphere here. It's a bit small but the decor and lighting are really comfortable. Our server was nice but it took awhile for anyone to take our order. I find the food here isn't always consistent. I've had great food at times but this last experience wasn't great. The salmon sashimi cut had too much fat on it and the rolls were a bit sloppy. I usually like the food here, though, so I will go back.

First let me say I used to love Sushi Time! No more. Since they relocated down the street from their old location things have never been the same. The place has put design over function, it looks good but it's noisy. The sushi pizza is still pretty good as is the nagima yaki but overall the quality of the food has gone down. The staff can be hit and miss as some of them appear to speak little or no English. It's a good idea to double check what they have written down as your order. It can be a challenge to grab a waitress in case you need something or wish to get the bill.

Portion sizes are really big, bento boxes include salad, miso soup, tea, and 3 of each tuna and cucumber rolls. Good value for about $10. Servers are Chinese, so very standoffish. No eye contact or small talk. Go if you want decent sushi in large portions and quick. If you want service, go to Hosu just across the street.
- Order: I usually order the basketball bento box, though sometimes baseball sushi. Servings are HUGE. Good value for the money.

Waitress was a waste of space. No personality. Did not even say a word to us. You would think she is dumb! Took a long time for the food to arrive. Got to request for soy sauce dipping plate in a Japanese restaurant! Went to the front desk/cashier to inform the staff that our waitress is horrible. He replied back with 'Thank you very much'.
She was tipped what she deserved...$2.
OH, and not to mention the place was freezing cold. This is in the summer!!!
