WRONG WAY TO CHARGE CUSTOMERS!

I went there three times altogether. 1st time was an excellent experience and so I brought other friends there for the 2nd time, which was good again. However, on my third visit (Aug 31, 2008), service wasn't great. The steak came to me late and therefore getting dry and chewy. Server didn't even ask whether food was ok at all. For this reason, I decided to reflect the quality of service in the tipping. To my surprise, the restaurant charged me an extra $10 on my VISA for I didn't tip enough. Took me two days to contact the GM, Frank. He said he will refund me for that $10 and nothing happened till now. If the service was good, I wouldn't mind that extra $10. Nonetheless, I think it is VERY WRONG to charge the $10 without consent.

Got together with friends gathering and wanted to try out thie fancy cook-meat-on-hot-stone place

The food was nicely presented, and meat was high quality, laid out on a 750F hot stone, you only need to sear once per side, then ready to serve
You cut a piece as you go, and the meat remained hot until the very end, which was nice and juicy/moisture

It was a enjoyable experience other than the final $550 bill for 10 persons before tips. I will try other fancy restaurants before returning to this

i couldn't enjoy any of the other popular steak houses like keg or outback. they can never get the steak cooked right at the way that i want.

but this stone grill restaurant is totally different since you can control how well your meat cooked. very fresh and JUICE food! steak&shrimps are presented on a evenly heated volcano stone so you can grill your own food right in front of you.

the side dishes can only score 8/10 though...
