Red Lobster is a favorite place for lunch for me personally and I like to give away a $25 gift card now and then to friends and acquaintances. By the way, I notice there's sometimes a "buffet equivalent (all you can eat)" shrimp offering of various kinds for only around $22. I mainly suggest this place for lunch as the Keg is the better spot for dinner in this town, in the same kind of appeal at some basic level I suppose. The clam chowder is a must, and the lunch menu is cheap with several different offerings for you around ten bucks for the main course. In any event it beats most of the alternatives for lunch in this town "hands down". That said, its not great service anywhere in Toronto anymore I'm afraid as standards are just not where they used to all be. I'm not complaining about Red Lobster though, they somehow manage to come through it seems. Great value indeed. They do accept the Sears Card for Red Lobster Gift cards at the many petrol stations that now offer them (PetroCanada for instance) Michael Chessman

unfortunately it was my idea to go to red lobster. the waiter, whos name i cant remember was great. very nice and polite and attentive. the food was so salty. i got mash potatoes that i couldnt even finish because of the amount of salt. even the garlic shrimp tasted salty. i also got the breaded butterfly shrimp, i didnt really like that. the sirloin steak 8oz. was bland as well. i dont think it was marinated. the only food i was able to finish was the garlic shrimp. the calamari was ok, the portion size of that was small. the battered broccoli was good too.
- Order: feast, create your own (shrimp, shrimp and more shrimp) calamari with broccoli, scallops wrapped in bacon

4 of us were waiting for a bus back to Peterborough and the waiter (think it was Julian) was wonderful, He didn't rush us and delivered the food as I would like it e.g. drinks first then salad, and when we are finished that the main course.
His service couldn't be improved on!

This was my first and last time that I will ever go to Red Lobster. It was nice of them to serve all the dishes around the same time. However, my friend who order the same dish got her's but I never received mines. I waited fifteen minutes after everyone had received theirs and and started eating. Until a served finally passed by...I had found out they had really forgotten about mines.
They provided a complementary Clam Chowder in return. Which I thought was really nice of them. I have no problems with it, but it tasted like the canned soup version.
When my pasta had finally arrived, the crab meat tasted a bit..frozen. I assume they use frozen crab meat for that matter. This was truly a terrible experience for me.
I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. This is not worth the time and money! - Order: Crab Linguini Alfredo

The food was great overall. There was a delay in the kitchen because of some kind of incident, and we were constantly kept aware of the situation, apologized to, and we all got free dessert on the house. The waitress was wonderful and friendly.

We've got 2 different shrimp dishes and what can I say... I felt sorry for that amount of seafood being completely spoiled by tasteless and unoriginal mcdonalds style cooking. This is one of the worst seafood experiences I had in Toronto. Seriously, any cheap Chinese place is better then them.
Service-wise it was OK: though after ridiculous line on the entrance, we discovered that there's a lot of free tables inside (the place doesn't take reservations, so I don't understand why we had to wait). But the waiter was very good and professional. That was practically the only good thing about that place. - Order: We've got Seaside Shrimp Trio and Shrimp Linguini Alfredo
